In Semester 2 of 2024, we have 3 project teams, each led by a Project Lead. The teams comprise of engineering students from a range of backgrounds and degree stages.
Ashutosh is studying a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Philosophy double degree, majoring in electrical engineering and computer science. He is deeply passionate about innovation and invention and wish to explore automation and artificial intelligence.
Milan is studying Chemical Engineering with aspirations to enter the nuclear engineering industry. This interest spans from applying nuclear technologies in medicine to development of materials used in nuclear reactors. Milan aspires to contribute to responsible and safe use of nuclear technologies for the benefit of society.
Sandalu currently is a second year mechanical engineering student at UWA who's also studying physics as part of a double degree. Sandalu's interests lie in energy generation and manufacturing engineering. He is most passionate in research towards efficient energy transformation and storage.
Carlo is a first year Electrical Engineering and Physics student at Curtin. Carlo is interested in embedded systems especially in the field of robotics. He joined Enitiate because he is extremely passionate about helping out small community efforts.
Dylan is currently majoring in Civil Engineering with an interest in sustainable infrastructure design through leveraging green materials, renewable energy and AI technology. He is passionate about applying humanitarian engineering principles to support marginalised communities and drive positive change.
Aaron studies Biomedical Engineering as well as Genetics. He wishes to go into age-related research, working towards extending human lifespan and improving the overall quality of life as people age.
Panashe is a 5th year student studying a Master of Professional Engineering (Chemical Engineering), with a passion for problem-solving and tackling challenging real-life issues.
Jack Smetana is a second year Mechanical Engineering student at UWA who loves 3D modelling and working with his hands. He is excited to work in a project with a motivated team.
Aimee is a third-year Biomedical Engineering student at UWA, and hopes to work on prosthetics and surgical implants with the assistance of 3D printing.
Jordan is pursuing a double major in Automation & Robotics and Physics. With aspirations to join the space industry, Jordan is enthusiastic about rockets and drones.
Bhavya is studying Economics and Software Engineering. She hopes to apply technical skills and knowledge from both, to work in the fields of advisory, consulting or policy making.
Emily is Civil Engineering student driven by a passion to integrate engineering principles into practical solutions for real-world challenges. She is hoping to make a lasting impact through innovative designs that promote a more sustainable society.
