In semester 2 of 2023, we have two project teams, each led by a Project Lead. The teams comprise of engineering students from a range of backgrounds and degree stages led by our project leads Harrison Cooper and Chandra Sekhar Udata
Bo-Lin, currently studying Civil Engineering, is keen to enhance the community resilience to the effects of natural disasters. He is passionate about balancing the needs of urban growth and the long-term viability of riverine ecosystems.
Senal Kellapatha, currently studying Civil Engineering in his second year of university, aspires to transform sustainable urban development through innovative engineering solutions, driven by his passion for creating resilient and eco-friendly infrastructure.
Durjoy Paul, currently pursuing a Master of Professional Engineering with a major in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Western Australia (UWA), has a deep passion for 3D engineering drawing and simulation and has a profound interest in exploring the oil and gas sector in the near future.
Jack Smetana is a second year Mechanical Engineering student at UWA who loves 3d modelling and working with his hands. He is Excited to work in a project with a motivated team.
Isaac Hanssen, currently studying Mechanical Engineering, is passionate about creating a sustainable future through the use of new renewable energy technologies, with particular interest in the upcoming offshore wind and wave energy developments.
Yi Lin is in her master’s degree, specialising in Chemical Engineering. Her interest lies in the use of CFD to improve and optimise engineering processes. She is passionate about learning the evolving technologies surrounding Australia’s waste to energy initiatives
Ayami is currently studying Civil Engineering. She hopes to enter project management in the future and work on projects that have a broader impact, whether at a local or global level, and contributing to positive change.
Milan is studying Chemical Engineering with aspirations to enter the nuclear engineering industry. This interest span from applying nuclear technologies in medicine to development of materials used in nuclear reactors. Milan aspires to contribute to responsible and safe use of nuclear technologies for the benefit of society.
Dylan is currently majoring in Civil Engineering with an interest in sustainable infrastructure design through leveraging green materials, renewable energy and AI technology. He is passionate about applying humanitarian engineering principles to support marginalised communities and drive positive change.
Aaron studies Biomedical Engineering as well as Genetics. He wishes to go into age-related research, working towards extending human lifespan and improving the overall quality of life as people age.
Reuben is a third year Mechanical Engineering student at Curtin University with a passion for Motorsport and hopes of working in Formula One in the future
Aimee is a third-year Biomedical Engineering student at UWA, and hopes to work on prosthetics and surgical implants with the assistance of 3D printing.
Nic is the Industry Engagement Lead for Enitiate and is currently studying a Bachelor of Mining Engineering (Honours) and is in his second year. Nic enjoys solving problems with practical solutions and is interested in the role that mining will play as the world shifts to clean energy.
Krish is a 2nd year Chemical Engineering student, with a passion for process design, particularly within the hydrogen energy space.
Senumi is a second-year Civil Engineering student with an interest in sustainable infrastructure design and aspires to address environmental challenges through innovative engineering solutions.
